ALTON Health Centre could be in line for a £2 million refurbishment if plans are finalised to move one of its practices to a purpose-built surgery in Chawton Park Road.
If Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital is sold, Dr Cubitt hopes to move his practice of five GPs to a new health centre and pharmacy on the site of the hospital's boiler room. The move will allow the Anstey Road surgery to be modernised and receive a new treatment room consisting of private rooms.
