WHITEHILL and Bordon has been awarded around £4m for a new construction skills training centre, with more funding on its way. The money comes from the M3 Local Enterprise Partnership which has been given £118m to spend on projects in the area. Subject to feasibility work, the funding would enable a construction skills training centre to be built in Whitehill and Bordon and the enterprise partnership has said that it will also fund the planned new relief road – as well as improving the existing main road through the town (the A325) in the next financial year.
