LIPHOOK could receive some much-needed new facilities, after the parish council revealed it had £80,000 to spend.
The money has been collected from developers' contributions, agreed as part of planning permission for a number of recent housing developments in the village.
The council has identified a number of key projects on which the money will be spent, including the village recreation ground.
There will be safety surfacing and a new slide for the play area and improved drainage.
The balance goes towards buying the land for new sporting facilities.
The parish council will provide East Hampshire District Council with its list and a timeframe.
Parish clerk Tony Groves said: "We will make an application to the district council for the new slide," he said. "It is the top priority.
"The drainage system is 40 years old and needs replacing," Mr Groves explained. "If we improve the drainage, we will get more play out of the pitch."
The clerk said the drainage project has gone to tender, and work will start next year. The sporting and recreation ground is part of the ongoing local plan.
"We carried out a playing field study which identified the need for more grounds in the village," Mr Groves added.
"We are a growing, developing community and there is not enough open ground to meet that growth."
