HALE School’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is raising money for library resources via a Give as You Live scheme.

Give as You Live is a web-based platform that works with online retailers and charities to enable a percentage of online customer purchases to be donated to charities. 

Hale PTA signed up to the scheme to assist with fundraising and is currently promoting this throughout the school with children and parents/carers. 

The idea is that people visit the Give as You Live site, choose Hale PTA Farnham as their chosen charity, find the shop they wish to shop online with and then shop in the normal way.

Once completed, a certain percentage of the sale is donated to Hale PTA.

Money can even be raised when booking a holiday, buying gift cards, switching insurance, energy or broadband supplier or people can make one-off donations.

The Farnham school currently has 42 supporters signed up and has raised just over £100 since its launch in December 2017.

The target is to raise £250 this academic year.
