DRAFT plans to build 120 homes next to Milford Hospital have gone out to public consultation.
Nearly 30 acres of the original hospital site were declared surplus to requirements in 2000, and it was identified as a major developed site suitable for housing.
But a scheme for 210 new homes put forward in 2007 triggered strong objections – fearing the narrow roads could not cope with such a high-density development.
