A driving instructor led a convoy of ten cars from Lasham to Camberley as part of the BBC Children in Need Big Learner Relay.

Roads underwater as isolated flooding reported around Herald & Post areaBarry Davis, who owns and runs the Mercury Driving School, was one of hundreds of instructors who ensured Pudsey Bear – attached to a magnetic learner driver roof sign – continued safely on his 2,000-mile journey around the country which ended with a lap of the Goodwood motor circuit and raised £34,378.
He said: “This is my first year taking part in the relay. As a father I am trying to show my son that it is important to help those who are less fortunate wherever possible.”
