TREKKERS Disabled Camp descended on Woodlarks campsite in Farnham earlier this summer with a Captain Pugwash-themed week of fun activities for disabled campers and volunteer helpers from all around the country.

Southampton-based accordionist Pete Searle put in an appearance with singer Bryony Fry, Will Cousins attended with magic, Punch & Judy and balloon modelling and there was also a concert by local choir Shuffletunes.

Alan Greenhalgh from First Class Falconry came along with a number of birds of prey, Little Monsters provided bouncy castles to keep the fun going and a visit to the British Disabled Waterski site at Heron Lake Staines was a massive hit.

A day out to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard proved very enjoyable with Portsmouth Grammer School kindly assisting with logistics. The week was rounded off with a fancy dress party being entertained by Bournemouth-based Graham Oliver with his Michael Buble tribute act.
