CHILDREN from St Mary's Primary School helped make Chiddingfold spic and span by taking part in The Big Tidy Up, part of the Keep Britain Tidy Campaign, aimed at teaching youngsters about litter and taking care of the environment.

Teacher Nikki Mackie organised the litter pick around the village as part of year four's topic learning about the environment and sustainability. Pupils made a record of all the rubbish they collected and made a presentation to fellow pupils, asking them to help by keeping the school and grounds tidy.
