ST Mary's Primary School in Bentworth celebrated National Book Week by dressing as their favourite characters.
And they turned the school library into a chill zone with bean bags and cushions
Headteacher Kate Heffer worked with each class to write a school story, and a theatre company visited to perform a musical about books and reading.
Mrs Heffer said: "We had a fantastic day, lots of brilliant costumes, and a real promotion of reading and books."
