CHILDREN at St Andrew’s Infant School had a spring in their step as they took part in the school’s annual 'sponsored bounce'.

The event, organised by St Andrew’s Parent Teacher Association, was a huge hit with the children, as well as being a great fundraiser for the school.

Parent helpers could hardly count the bounces fast enough as pupils cheered their classmates on.

The children had one minute each to do as many bounces as they could, some even managed more than 100!

It was smiles all round, everyone received a certificate for taking part, and there were prizes awarded to the bounciest boy and girl in each class.

A St Andrew’s spokesman said: "The event was a huge success, and raised well over £1,500 for the school."
