PUPILS in Reception Class at Beacon Hill School have been busy constructing a traditional Guy Fawkes figure for the village celebrations this Saturday.
With the help of their buddies in year-six and using donated materials, the children enjoyed
creating their replica of the infamous historical
figure, who will take pride of place on top of the bonfire, at the village's firework display, at the Hindhead Playing Fields.
Gates open at 4.30pm and tickets are available on the evening or in advance from the school in Beacon Hill Road, post office or Windmills shoe shop.
As well as the bonfire, there will be a spectacular firework display, and many other attractions including a fully licensed bar provided by Hindhead Cricket Club, barbecue, glow toys and tombolas.
Reception Class teacher Julie Banham said: "The children have been excited to be involved in our preparations for bonfire night and are looking forward to bringing friends and families to see their Guy on Saturday."
