CHILDREN from a Headley pre-school liaised with royalty when they learned about the postal system.

“At Little Treasures Pre-School we have been busy in past weeks learning about postal mail, with little ones dressing up in postal uniform,” said pre-school assistant Julie Foster. “This led on to learning home addresses, making envelopes and cards, sending our own mail, having a visit from a postman and writing a letter to the Queen. We celebrated the Queen’s June birthday and this week got back a letter from Buckingham Palace from Her Majesty’s lady in waiting.

“This caused much excitement and wrapped up our themes.”

Little Treasures takes place at Headley Sports Pavilion.
