PARENTS of students at St Mary’s C of E Infant School, Frensham, were left delighted after watching three performances of ‘Eddie the Penguin Saves the World’.

Pupils in year one and two took part in the production which marked the end of a successful year for the school.

‘Eddie the Penguin’ is a cautionary ecological tale, telling the story of the penguins’ dismay as the Arctic ice melts and how people can help to reverse climate change.

A collection was held at the end of the play, with the eco team voting to put it towards sponsoring a polar bear and a penguin.

• Prospective parents for 2019 entrants are invited to the school’s open morning on October 12, from 9.30am to 11.30am.
