ST Nicholas’ School in Church Crookham has raised £440 for the BBC’s Children in Need Appeal.

Year eight pupils presented a special assembly on the charity which has been helping disadvantaged children in the UK since 1985.

Junior and senior pupils, in their tutor groups, collected coins to see who could collect the most money to complete a Pudsey bear template.

On November 17, the year eight pupils brought in cakes which they had baked and also sold the fairy cakes which the year nine pupils had made in their food technology lessons.
