YOUNG pupils at a Farnham school celebrated their harvest festival with a traditional service in St Andrew’s Church.

The children from St Andrew’s Infant School were joined by their families to sing uplifting songs, including one about the school allotment.

The thankful service also featured drama, poems, prayers and congregation participation.

Getting into the spirit of the occasion, children have been busy at the school allotment harvesting their own seasonal crops.

The whole school donated essential items to the Farnham Foodbank, which gave the children an understanding of helping people less fortunate than themselves.

After the service, the parents enjoyed refreshments in the church while the children headed back to school to enjoy homemade cakes.
