CHILDREN were treated to a special bedtime story event at St Mary’s Infant School in Frensham.

Students were invited back to school for the occasion, which took place on January 29.

Youngsters went back to school in their pyjamas and took along their favourite bedtime teddy to accompany them.

A spokesman for St Mary’s said: “Classrooms were decorated in fairy lights and children enjoyed yummy hot chocolate and biscuits.”

Once the pupils had enjoyed their snack and drink, they sat down on the floor to enjoy some bedtime stories.

The teachers, who were also in their pyjamas, read the children some of their favourite bedtimes stories, including The Pirates Next Door by Jonny Duddle, King Donkey Ears by Lesley Sims, The Clumsy Crocodile by Felicity Everett and World’s Worst Children by David Walliams.
