ON the run up to the half-term holiday, children in Acorns class at Andrews’ Endowed Primary School in Holybourne have been busy learning about minibeasts.
Pupils have watched caterpillars grow into butterflies, made clay models of insects, and even had a school trip to Hillier Gardens, where they participated in many fun activities such as pond dipping, nature dyeing and bug hunting.
The children loved learning about minibeasts so much that they celebrated the end of the topic with a day dressing up as our favourite insects.
