A GROUP of pupils returning to Frensham Heights in Rowledge from a history trip to the continent were among 6,000 people stranded in the Channel by October's fierce storms.
Five cross-channel ferries were unable to dock in Dover on Sunday, October 29 with some forced to spend 16 hours offshore, being buffeted by high winds and heavy seas.
