Puttenham went top of the I'Anson division one for the first time after annihilating Fernhurst on Saturday.
Tony Champneys and Travis Robinson continued their fine form for Puttenham, this time putting on 120 for the first wicket. Champneys went on to make 94 and the home side declared at 224-5 after just 43 overs.
Nick Pound then recorded brilliant figures of 6 for 17 in 11 overs as Fernhurst crashed to 54 all out in 22 overs.
Long-time leaders The Bourne need to regroup after suffering their second successive defeat. They lost to Tilford whose run of seven successive wins has put them second in the table, two points off the lead.
With their strongest line-up for many years, Tilford totalled 177-9 on an awkward pitch. Jervis and Barnes put on 80 for the first wicket before the accuracy of Crawley and Culham began to eat into the batting.
Bourne never really recovered from the early losses of Hales and Sale. Croucher and Harris threatened to ignite the innings, but at 97-9 with 11 overs left, it seemed all over. However, Bowden and Mayhew dug in and only three balls remained when Barnes, generating extra pace, bowled the defiant Mayhew.
Headley drew with Frensham in a titanic battle that ended with the scores level. Ben Maxwell hit a fine 66 for Frensham, but the spinners caused a collapse and Gordon Downham bagged 6 for 56 as the visitors subsided to 156 all out in 42 overs.
Headley looked good for victory while Alan Rooney was at the crease. But old foe Ray Clarke bowled him for 63 with the first ball of the 47th over. Five runs were needed off the final over, bowled by Maxwell, and Headley fell agonisingly short when Mike Hughes was run out off his only ball.
Grayshott lost a wicket in the first over at Lindford (a brilliant stumping by Russell) but then recovered to total 194-6 in 42 overs, with Andy Wheble hitting 52 and Mark Sobey a whirlwind 32 not out.
It was a formidable total on a green wicket, as became evident when Lindford batted. They were all out for 52 after an inept batting display. Man-of-the-match Sobey wreaked havoc with his spin, taking 8 for 18 in 11.5 overs.
Witley knocked another nail into Dogmersfield's coffin with an emphatic victory. Taylor contributed 79 in Witley's total of 203-7, while Len Smith bowled well for his five-wicket haul.
After some middle-order resistance, Dogmersfield tumbled to 79 all out. Leathem's two caught-and-bowled were the highlights of Witley's fielding performance.
