RUNFOLD campaigners are celebrating this week after winning an 18-month battle against plans to build one of Europe's largest waste factories on the outskirts of Farnham.

Waste management company SITA has officially withdrawn its application for a 120,000 tonne in-vessel composting facility at Runfold South Quarry.
