AN ITV crew made their way back to school on Tuesday, as they joined St Polycarp’s pupils for their Daily Mile.
Amongst the crew was reality TV star Georgia Toffolo, known as ‘Toff’, who presented the ‘This Morning’ broadcast to the nation at around 11.15am.
As a leading school inspiring other educational establishments to run the Daily Mile, St Polycarp’s were approached by ITV to come and create a film clip promoting the positive impact of the initiative.
The school also welcomed Holly Lodge Primary School in Ash Vale to join them in their run.
Holly Lodge does not yet do a Daily Mile, however joined St Polycarp’s to see what was involved.
Toff is a ‘Made in Chelsea’ star and was crowned Queen of the Jungle in the ITV show ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
She posted a video of the children taking part in the Daily Mile to Instagram and said: “Tune in to @thismorning today to catch me hanging out with the coolest kids!
“Discussing a really great initiative, the Daily Mile wants every school child to jog or run a mile at school everyday.
“I think it’s a FANTASTIC idea and this lot proves it!”
