A PETITION of nearly 2,000 signatures protesting about queues in Petersfield post office will soon be winging its way to the head of Royal Mail.
As Paula Wigley and her husband John ended their month-long campaign this week to collect as many signatures as possible to persuade Post Office Ltd to get more staff to man the counters at busy times, the determined pensioners from Pulens Crescent declared that the petition had brought in more responses than they ever expected.
