Although missing several regulars for this last game of the first half of the league season, Bordon started well with some nice passing and early pressure.
Derek Bonfield pounced to dispossess the 'keeper and slot in the first goal. Harlequins' confidence soared and Bonfield swept in a pass from Henry Baton for his second.
Tony Grevatt 'roofed' a pass from David Bawden for the third and Bordon, completely in command, were able to introduce some different faces for the second half.
Bonfield completed his hat-trick with a deflected free-hit and skipper Neil Johnston got the fifth after another Bawden through-pass.
Harlequins pushed most of their players up for a last-gasp short corner, but Grevatt calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner for the sixth and final goal.
