In the next few months, the Alton Arts Festival will be connecting with the community by staging some pre-festival events, both to whet people’s appetites and raise funds to support the festival.
On October 27, an arts-themed quiz will take place in Alton’s Assembly Rooms, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10 per person, which includes a glass of fizz, and can be purchased from www.wegottickets.com/event/592775/
Teams of up to eight people are welcome, but smaller teams can also be accommodated. The winning team will take away exclusive festival merchandise.
As well as the quiz, there will be a silent auction featuring items such as autographed records, exclusive artwork, and signed books.
Quizzers are welcome to bring their own food to supplement the light refreshments on offer. A bar will be available, courtesy of Goldfinch Books.
