Sir, – How refreshing to read the practical reply from RAF Odiham to the matter of overflying the Redgrave. Farnham's culture of complaint would well benefit from more such robust and no-nonsense response.
As to the letter from Messrs DuMoulin and Lallemand, what worse example of selfish "not in my back yard" attitude could ever have been printed in a newspaper.
There are many intrusions on life nowadays in the way of noise and from many sources. That we live in a military area should have been obvious to these two and to cavil against legitimate and necessary training does them no credit whatsoever. I find it difficult to restrain my disgust at their attitude.
