PLANS to introduce a rail link from Medstead and Four Marks station, using the Mid-Hants Railway line to connect with the main line service at Alton, have been put on hold until the end of the year.

Go! Co-operative Ltd, trading as GoCo – a sustainable travel co-operative, was due to trial a 'low carbon' ultra-light rail service, operating for four weeks from January 24, to test demand for a commuter link.
