ALTON Line Users Association chairman Chris Campbell has condemned plans by South West Trains to press ahead with fare increases despite continuing disruption on the railways.
He describes fellow passengers as "shell shocked" at news that SWT is to increase off-peak fares by 4.9 per cent from this Sunday, representing a hefty rise above inflation.
