IN the glow of a “huge” bonfire built by the village Scout group, Four Marks Primary School held its annual fireworks display on November 5.
It is always a big event organised by the Friends of Four Marks School and this year, although there was the odd heavy rain shower, parents, visitors and children ventured out to see the spectacular display while tucking into warming hotdogs, hamburgers and soup around the bonfire.
And just in case that wasn’t enough, there were also fairground rides and a bouncy castle to keep the youngsters happy.
Vanessa Kelli, a spokesman for the Friends of Four Marks School, said “We had a very good crowd and although we don’t yet know what we made we hope we have topped last year’s figure of £4,000.”
