New for this year was a dog show, judged by Andrew Hart from Woodside Vetinerary Clinic, which attracted more than 20 entries and snail races, organised by Haslemere Rotary Club, which raised more than £80.

The diamond jubilee celebrations continued with a Royal theme – real or fictional – for the Scarecrow Competition staged by Phil Darley, which was back by popular demand following the success of last year's event.
