WHEN manager Sharon Edwards organised a coffee morning at Shine Dental Clinic in Medstead she had no qualms in using it to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, which is a cause close to her heart.
Sharon was diagnosed with the disease just over seven years ago, and although it has been in remission she is about to undergo more treatment as it has returned.
So she was “very pleased” that in just two hours her coffee morning raised £300 with the help of cakes donated by local cafe Nosh and the Loaf Bakery in Four Marks.
“All the staff also made cakes and as well as patients we had people from local businesses calling in for coffee and cake, and they also met our new dentist, Angela Snider,” she said.
