ELSTEAD has become the latest village to fall victim to a spate of robberies in which cash machines in shops are targeted.
Thieves ram-raided the Spar shop on The Green in the village at around 1-30 am on Saturday morning, smashing through the front of the shop and stealing the automatic telling machine.
