Alresford handed out a six-goal hiding to Hamble who came into the game on the back of two excellent wins.

The first goal was a spectacular effort. O'Rourke took a return pass from Bendall and rifled a left-foot shot into the top corner.

Gary Bennett then scored twice for a rampant Alresford and the fast-improving Glenn Pritchard made it 4-0.

Hamble pulled one back early in the second half, only for Grant Young to quickly restore Alresford's four-goal advantage.

A cross-cum-shot from O'Rourke completed the scoring.
