YOUNG people in rural East Hampshire can get ready for four weeks of fun this summer holiday when the Rural Areas Play Project (RAPP) and Get Activ8d will be back on the road. Parents will now be able to book and pay for sessions online for the first time. RAPP co-ordinator Lisa Clements said: "This is a big step forward for RAPP. Parents have been able to book online through our system for a while, but the older system had become obsolete and didn't allow for online payments. "The new system - using Hampshire County Council's Hants Shop - will accept payments, meaning that parents won't have to remember to bring money with them on the day. For those that don't have access to the internet, we will still be taking bookings over the phone." RAPP will be visiting Liphook, Whitehill and Bordon, and 17 other venues across East Hampshire with two special all-day sessions at Butser Ancient Farm, near Petersfield. Activities include lantern making, den building, Bollywood dance, and samba drumming. For full story, see this week's Liphook Herald.
