A FARMER has criticised a change in Government policy that has left him £450,000 out of pocket and forced him to lay off three staff.

Tony Goodsell, of West End Farm, Froyle, described the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs' decision to clarify the definition of recycling as "bureaucracy gone mad".
