RESIDENTS are invited to attend a meeting with the Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company.

The meeting, hosted by Whitehill Town Council on Thursday (February 6) at the Forest Community Centre from 7pm, will see the regeneration company give an update following the previous session in November.

Council leader, Councillor Andy Tree said he hopes “as many people as possible will come to the meeting to ask questions and get an update”, especially surrounding health provision in the town.

He continued: "At our last meeting (with the regeneration company) on November 7, James Child said that a planning application for a Health Hub would be submitted early this year, suggesting March 2020.

"That is only just over a month away and it will be very interesting to see how this now links to East Hampshire District Council’s decision to delegate to their director of regeneration and place, in consultation with the portfolio holder (Cllr Cowper), the development of a detailed business case for investment in the Health Hub.

"Given that health provision in Whitehill & Bordon and the future of Chase Hospital in particular is a number one issue for residents, I hope as many people as possible will come to the meeting to ask questions and get an update."
