WEYBOURNE Infant School raised £2,300 for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice with the first of many 'Reindeer Runs'.

All 100 of the school's pupils took part, running around the school grounds until teachers eventually had to tell them to stop.

A spokesman for Phyllis Tuckwell said: "We didn't expect at all to raise this much money from such a small school. It was amazing."

Weybourne Infants was the first of many schools to hold the festive runs.
