FARNHAM traders can breathe a sigh of relief this week with the news that 12 weeks of repair work on Firgrove Hill Bridge are to be delayed until the new year.

Retailers had feared the strengthening work, which was due to start on September 6, would have deterred shoppers from entering the town during the busy build-up to Christmas.
