A HASLEMERE resident has this week called for the installation of closed circuit television cameras in the town centre in a bid to help reduce crime.
Alan Hensher, who has a long involvement with Neighbourhood Watch and is a member of the crime prevention panel, has welcomed the call for CCTV made by former Haslemere mayor Brian Howard following the vandalism of three shop windows in the High Street and West Street on New Year's Eve.
