DESPITE suffering massive cuts in its funding, Bohunt Community Centre has continued to be renovated, improved and expanded over the last year.

The centre has seen an 80 per cent cut in funding overall, including the removal of its Hampshire County Council grant of £30,000 per year and East Hampshire District Council's grant of £20,000 per year, which was was halved.

The former management committee has been replaced by a service level agreement due to the reduction in county and district council involvement.

Despite the cuts, opening hours have been unaffected and Bohunt School has put hundreds of thousands of pounds into renovations.
