HASLEMERE residents have joined forces this week to oppose plans for the installation of additional mobile telephone transmitters on top of the town's fire station in West Street.
The residents of Oaklands, off Tanners Lane, have launched a campaign against the application which was submitted to Waverley Borough Council by Mercury One to One last month.
