BISHNU Kharel, owner of the Bayleaf Restaurant in Grayshott, was delighted to present £1,700 to a charity in aid of the disadvantaged in a remote area of Nepal.

The money was raised for the Chitwan Aid Trust UK at a fundraising banquet and raffle he organised at the restaurant, which was attended by 65 guests.

Bishnu said: “I am extremely pleased with the support I got from customers and Grayshott villagers and I would like to give a big thank you to everyone for such a successful and worthwhile evening.”
