STUDENTS at Showshack Dance and Theatre School have celebrated their most recent round of exam results.
This summer, ballet, tap and LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) students worked to complete their graded exams.
All ballet and tap students passed, with nearly 90 per cent obtaining either a merit or distinction.
All LAMDA students also passed, with almost 50 per cent gaining distinction, ranging from entry level to gold in solos, duos, musical theatre and acting.
A spokesperson for Showshack said: “Huge congratulations to all our students and teachers.
“LAMDA results were some of the best that Showshack has ever seen.
“Particular congratulations going to Isabelle Vincent, Tom Marshall, Munira Meyer, Natasha Brimble and Eve Franckel who achieved incredible marks of over 90.”
Showshack offers dance classes in ballet, tap, modern and street/commercial dance throughout the week which work to develop fitness, technique, performance skills, focus and discipline.
All higher level LAMDA and RAD (The Royal Academy of Dance) ballet exams are accredited and give equivalent points towards GCSE, A-level and UCAS.
