Peeps into the Past: Castaway Christmas for Tilford's own Robinson CrusoeWhite Stuff shops, head office and distribution centre are all partnered with their own local charity and the White Stuff Foundation, which was set up in 2010, gives regular grants to these charities, in addition to funds raised by their staff and customers.
The Farnham branch, on The Borough, has supported the 40 Degreez Centre since it first opened, and acting manager Debbie Tippe said: “We have currently raised £700 for the centre and there is still more coming in. We choose 40 Degreez because they support disadvantaged children, and this money can go toward counselling and so much more.
“Fifteen staff members took part during the week. Originally we planned to cycle and row 409 miles which is the distance between all of our White Stuff shops in the South but we managed 421 miles in total.
“I just want to say how brilliant the staff were and how they all got involved and a big thanks to all of our customers who contributed.”
