A RACING driver who specialises in restoring "high end" cars looks set to move his firm into a former garage near Petersfield.

Some of the world's most exclusive cars could be repaired and displayed in Sheet if Dean Lazante gets his way.

Mr Lazante wants to move his vehicle restoration business from Sleaford, near Bordon, to the former White Rose Petersfield site.

Lazante Ltd has a superb reputation in the motoring world for restoring classic and high-end racing cars for wealthy private clients.

It also specialises in road conversions of F1 McLaren racing cars and has a formidable racing team that competes across the world.

Mr Lazante recently bought the London Road site with a view of turning the building into a showroom, workshop and storage facility.
