THE Hen and Chicken filling station has been operating without fuel for seven months and staff have this week spoken about the "ridiculous" situation they are facing on the shop floor.

Petrol and diesel was rationed from Christmas, but it was early April when the independently-owned garage last saw a fuel delivery.
