A FERNHURST baby has been fitted with a new hi-tech helmet to help correct a rare head condition, thanks to the generosity of local people.

Six-month-old Riley Inder was diagnosed with flat head syndrome, also known as plagiocephaly, after tearing a neck muscle during birth.

And following two fundraising events, at The Swan Inn and Muscle Inc gym in Haslemere, his parents have raised the £2,000 needed for a custom-fitted protective helmet.
