POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a road accident in which a Ewshott man died.
Henry John Weare, 69, of Beacon Hill Road, who was a Hart Borough Council-licensed taxi-driver was driving his Ford Mondeo taxi when it was in collision with a Toyota Avensis at about 10 am last Friday on the B3013 Minley Road.
Farnborough traffic police are seeking the driver or occupants of a small green car, similar to either a Renault Clio or Citroen Saxo, last seen heading towards Fleet on the B3013.
Pc Ed Wilson said: "We are not suggesting that the driver of that car was involved in the collision, but we would urge that person to contact us, as we think they saw the collision, or the vehicles involved."
