ROADWORKS and div-ersions in Lindford have had "catastrophic" effe-cts on the Londis store and post office.

Manager Julian Taylor-Green said traffic works, which started last Septem-ber and will finish in mid March, had "killed" his passing trade and had "terrible" effects on his turnover.

"Businesses like us rely on passing trade and we've lost a huge chunk of it, it's our bloodline," he said.
