MORE roadworks schemes expected to cause traffic delays across the Farnham area in coming weeks.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A325 in Guildford Road from Monday, January 15, to Wednesday, January 17, for highway works by South East Water.
The same company will also be undertaking works to reinstate the highway outside 2A Station Hill from Monday to Wednesday next week, requiring give and take boards.
Also beginning next Monday, Southern Gas Networks will close a lane of The Borough outside Preferred Travel to lay a new service pipe. These works are expected to last four days until Friday, January 19.
Gas works by Gas Transportation Co will also be taking place on the A325 in Wrecclesham Hill, opposite the former Garden Style nursery, from Monday to Friday next week, requiring more temporary traffic lights.
Also in Wrecclesham, South East Water is set to permanently reinstate the highway outside 10 Echo Barn Lane from January 11 to 15, requiring give and take boards.
Two-way traffic lights will be in place on the A3001 in Elstead for remedial works by Openreach, from January 15 to 17 opposite Foxhill, and from January 16 to 18 at the junction of Whitmead Road.
Openreach is also set to close a stretch of The Reeds Road in Frensham, from Mayfield to The Old Post Office, between January 15 and 19 to connect a new customer to the broadband network.
