ROCK Choir is inviting everyone to join them in a 24-hour Sing-A-Thon in aid of a South Farnham Infants School pupil Harry Sherwood, who has been fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia for more than two years.
His treatment is being led by The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, and Rock Choir would like to help raise the much-needed funds to support the work it is are doing.
The event will run from 10am to 6pm on both April 9 and 10. This promises to be a fun, up-lifting event, where participants have the opportunity to sing their socks off in the capable hands of highly accomplished Rock Choir leaders while raising money for ‘Team Harry’.
All donations will go directly to funding research and trials into curing childhood cancers at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
Farnham Rock Choir leader Tom George said “This is a wonderful cause, we’ll be learning fun, uplifting songs from the Rock Choir repertoire and eating lots of cake. It promises to be a fantastic weekend.”
